Just a 5 minute walk from Nablus's city centre is the colourful Aslan Tile Factory, which has been producing beautiful coloured cement tiles for 3 generations. There are over 500 stencils, which can each be customised with whatever coloured cement that you wish! That is equal to a seemingly limitless number of unique tiles! At 4kg per tile they are not light, but even if you are not in the market for tiles, it is worth checking the factory to witness the production process and to take an obligatory photo by the tile wall.
