Riwaq, an organisation dedicated to "preserving Palestinian collective memory through projects that document and restore architectural heritage sites across the West Bank and Gaza", has developed a fantastic heritage trail that visitors can discover on foot or by car.
Visitors can 'pick and mix' activities and sites to visit, and Riwaq's extremely comprehensive pdf document is useful to understand the architectural and cultural history of the sights along the trail. I will attempt to dissect the contents in more detail over the coming months, but I highly recommend downloading and browing Riwaq's guide, available here.
